New look and Thanksgiving decor

I got in the decorating mood over the weekend so I decided to rearrange my living room again. I also decide to get all of the rest of my Thanksgiving decor out. I love this time of year and I love decorating for it.

My fireplace mantel only had the mirror and the two canisters so I decided to add to it.

I bought this picture at Hobby Lobby. I love it so much and think it goes well with my colors.

I got these turkeys last year at Silver Dollar City marked down to nothing almost.

I moved my sofa table in the kitchen. I finally found a spot for the fish that we have had three years this month. I did not know that goldfish lasted that long. HA!

I have been searching for a spot for this basket and my cookbooks so I tried this and like it so far.

My mom got me this for my birthday three years ago. I chipped the side of it but was able to put some paint over it to cover it up. You can still see it but it looks better than it did before.

I also bought these at Hobby lobby and filled them with apples and lemons several months ago but found a new spot for them. These are the first thing that I see when I walk into my kitchen. I love it!

I like my living room like this. It is still open and cozy at the same time. I had to put one of my end tables in the guest room because they are just too large to fit. I also was trying to make room for my Christmas tree that I will be putting up in a few weeks.

I brought this shelf out of the guest bedroom so that Sarah Grace would have easy access to her DVD's. This is where the tree will go.

1st Friday

Yesterday we had a big day. Sarah Grace went back to school after staying home three days with the croup and Lena Kate and I went on our first outing together. First we went to meet Shaun at Buffalo Wild Wings (one of our favorite places to eat) then we went to Candy Cane Lane, then to Dillard's to look for the girls matching Christmas dresses. Lena and I spent most of the time in the bathroom at Dillard's nursing but I did find two very nice dresses for Sarah Grace and one for Lena. I could not make up my mind so I didn't buy anything until my mom could go help me decide. Lena fell asleep right when we got to BWW and stayed asleep the entire time. Shaun picked Sarah Grace up from school and met us at the square where Wal-Mart was putting on a toy fair. They had so much to do for the kids. Sarah Grace had so much fun.

We even got to see Santa while we were there. Sarah Grace told him that she wanted a princess castle and a dora doll. We left the square by 5 and went to my parents. Lena was worn out and ready to be home..... She did very well the entire day but was ready to get out of her car seat for sure.

Christmas List

We got the new Dilly Dally's (local toy store) Christmas catalog in the mail today. Tonight I told Sarah Grace to circle everything that she might like Santa to bring her. I was able to get a couple of pictures of her in deep thought while shopping. She is so much like me when it comes to shopping. Sorry Shaun!

Beautiful Day

Today was a gorgeous day so the girls and I took a walk around our neighborhood and enjoyed the sunshine. I wanted to try out our new stroller. I love it! I highly recommend the sit and stand if you have more than one child. It was so easy to push and SG could get in and out on her own. Sarah Grace enjoyed all of the leaves outside. Lena Kate fell asleep before we got to the end of our street. She didn't care to much for the sun in her face. I on the other hand enjoyed every minute of it! I had Shaun take this picture before he went back to work from lunch. I think that I was talking to him while he took this one. Ha!

Love the glasses. Natalie bought these for her this summer.


Tonight was the viewing of Mr. Carter and Shaun, Natalie, and I stayed back and watch all of the kids during the visitation. What a great group of kids. They all played very well together!
We are suppose to have great weather all week. I hope the girls and I can get out and walk some more. I am getting my hair cut tomorrow morning, it is way over due so I cant wait for that. Maybe I will post some before and after pictures.
