Our weekend started on Thursday this week because Shaun had the day off Friday. Thursday night my cousin Shane and his wife Shelley invited us out for a cookout. They have a little girl
Kaci. She is 7 months younger than Sarah Grace and they play so well together.
Friday night we took Sarah Grace out to Bella Vista to see the fireworks. They had a really nice show. Shaun and Sarah Grace did a few sparklers while we waited on the show.
Tonight we had my sister
Dia, her family, my parents and
Demi and Natalie over for dinner and fireworks. We had a true southern meal tonight. Fried chicken, fried potatoes, white beans, and lots of fruits and veggies. My sister also made a wonderful spinach dip. The kids all played hard and then we shot off fireworks. My
neighborhood was very exciting tonight. The
entire subdivision lit up with constant fireworks. I
spent most of my time in the house with the little ones. They
preferred Dora over the outside festivities.
