Well our season came to an end this year and the Polecats did it again for the second year in a row. 12 and under league champs!! We had a really good season this year. At the beginning the coaches (Shaun and my dad) were not sure if we would win a game! We ended the season 12 and 2. We came back and beat both teams that beat us earlier this year in the same night. The girls really came out to play ball and worked really hard all season.
Our star player (my youngest sister)Natalie played everything from pitcher, catcher, and 1st base. She missed the tournament because she was at GA camp with our church but was there at heart! Sarah Grace got to accept her trophy for her Monday night. It will be hard for her to give it up. She was so excited that when Shaun handed it to her she came running to me screaming "look mom I got a trophy"!
I was trying to get a quick picture of Natalie running to third and caught Shaun in action as a coach. He has a true gift when it comes to coaching. The girls love him and take in everything that he says.
Natalie is missing in this picutre but Sarah Grace took her spot and made a face that only her Aunt Nat Nat would show her.
