Final day at Big Cedar and then home sweet home

Yesterday we had a great day. My parents came up early and spent most of the day and night with us. We had lunch, went swimming in two pools, enjoyed the lazy river, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and then play putt putt together. They went home around 10:45 and we were so tired that we went straight to bed.

This morning Sarah Grace woke up and said "are we going home today" and that she missed Max our dog. Shaun and I both knew that we had been gone long enough. So I called the front desk and asked if we could have an early check out and the manager was very nice and said that we could not get a refund unless someone else wanted the room. It just happened to be that our cabin would be the only one available at Big Cedar tonight so we may have a good chance of getting our money back. So we check out early and headed home.... We stopped by Roaring River on the way and let Sarah Grace feed the fish at the hatchery. We got home this afternoon and I am almost caught up with all of the laundry and have put everything away. Now if I could just get my car cleaned out from the long trip. I am so excited to sleep in my own bed tonight. We had a wonderful vacation but I am sure glad to be home.
