Open House

Today we went to Sarah Grace preschool/Mothers Day out open house. This is her third year to go and she is so excited. She was a little shy today but will be ready on Monday. This is her teacher Mrs Tina and the class aid Ms Holly. They are both great. We are looking forward to a great year.

After open house Shaun treated us to lunch at one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants. Then we came home to be lazy. Sarah Grace wanted to watch a movie in her room so I made her popcorn and pretzels for a snack. I also tried a sprite in the little bottles for the first time. I thought that she was getting to the age that she would do OK with it on her own. HA!

I went into the kitchen to start dinner for Shaun and she came running into me saying "mom I need a towel and don't watch me" Of course I followed her to her room and this is what I found.

Not only was it popcorn and pretzels everywhere, they were also very wet and hard to get out of the carpet. I guess I know now that snacks are to be served under supervision...
