Yesterday we took Lena Kate for her first check up at the doctor's office. She weighed 8lbs even. She was still a little jaundice but the doctor thought she would get better by the end of the week. She did very good in the car. She slept on the way there and on the way home. I got her all dressed up for the special occasion because this will be her only outing for a long time. We are going to keep her in the house until Thanksgiving. I am too scared of the swine flu and all of the other crazy stuff that is going around. We may get out to go to family functions but no public places for sure. We will see.
My parents ordered this stork for our front yard to show off their new grand baby. We had one when Sarah Grace was born also and the little sign hangs in her room now. Lena Kate did not like getting her picture made very much here or it was that I tried putting a bow in her hair right before Shaun took the picture.
My aunt Cheryl came by after work to see Lena Kate. This is my moms little sister.
Aunt Demi could not go a day without holding her little niece.
Proud Grandma. My mom took Sarah Grace shopping while we went to the doctor and bought her some adorable clothes. She got Sarah Grace and Lena Kate coats because the temperature is starting to drop here.

Wanda is our next door neighbor and good friend to us. She has been traveling so this was her first visit to see LK.
