Soccer and Friends

This afternoon, Shaun had his very first soccer coaches meeting. Yes, Shaun has always said that he wouldn’t coach his kids and yes, he is coaching Sarah Grace in her very first year of soccer. Ha! After the meeting he went to a local sports shop and bought her everything that she will need to play. He is so excited and so is she. The only problem we might have is that she asked me today if her daddy was going to buy her a bat at the store. Funny! When he got home she was so excited to try out her new items.

Please try to overlook the makeup all over her face. I can totally blame Demi for this. She sent SG home from my parents today with a lot of old make up.

My mom bought SG a soccer ball a few weeks ago so she should be all set for her first game two weeks from today.
We had some special visitors tonight. My sister Dia joined her husband at a golf tournament so we volunteered to keep the boys for them. At the last minute Jacob decided to hang out at my parents. He enjoyed spending time with his Grandpa.

Emily and Sarah Kate came over for a couple of hours to play with the girls. These two girls are the sweetest and most well behaved kids I have ever watched. Sarah Kate loves to say thank you. She even told Shaun thank you for handing me something. It was so sweet!

The kids all played hard and enjoyed each other. I made tacos and then we baked cookies.

They were able to play outside for a very short time and I made them drink lots of water because it was so hot out there.

The play room was the best idea that we have had in such a long time!!  They love it!
