We have had horrible weather here this week. We are praising God for keeping us safe over the last couple of days. My heart breaks for all of those who have lost loved ones and homes. A town just 45 minutes north of us lost everything. The forecast was horrible for us last night. I packed the girls books, toys, a few outfits, cups, pacifiers, diapers, water, snacks, and our weather radio and we headed to my parents house until the storms moved out. We were planning to go to the church basement as soon as we heard the sirens go off. Luckily they never did and we were able to come home around 11:00 last night.
Today is a bitter sweet day for us. It was the girls last day of school until this Fall. Sarah Grace and John Tyler had water day. I went up there and got Lena so that she could join in on some of the fun.
After school I drove by the new splash park and the girls wanted to get out to check it out. We were the only ones there because the weather was a little cold.
Lena wasnt so sure at first
I couldnt get Sarah Grace out of it. I have a feeling we will be there a lot this summer.
