Show Us Where You Live Friday

Kelly started a link last week called Show Us Where You Live Friday. Each Friday we will post rooms in our house. Last Friday was kitchens and I was not able to do it because for Mothers Day, Shaun had my kitchen, two bathrooms, and the baby room painted. Well needless to say the painter started on the kitchen and just finished late yesterday afternoon. Tomorrow we are showing our living rooms. My kitchen just went from a burnt orange to a deep red. I was a little nervous but it turned out exactly the way I wanted it. I am very happy with the color. I love my kitchen! This is the one place where I am the most. I love to cook. I would like for it to be larger or maybe be open to my living area.
Before we painted I use to have all of my silver dishes on top of my cabinets but I sorta like them empty now with the new color.

This is where we eat almost every meal. It is just right off of my kitchen. I wanted to give a full image of the area but the painter still has all of his stuff over in the corner so I couldn't.
