Bedroom Makeovers

I really took advantage of Shaun's time off this Friday and had him help me do some Extreme makeovers in my house. I started by changing the color of Sarah Grace's bedroom. I have shown some pictures of her rooms (OK, so I am a little obsessive). First we had the light green and then we moved the playroom out and put her in that room (blue room). I could not take the blue any longer. It made a fun play room but not a bedroom. I wanted something that went with the tones in our home and I saw this color on a blog and loved it. I think this is the best that her room has ever looked. Now if we could just get her in her bed at night.

We use to have a spare bedroom for our quest but gave it up when Sarah Grace got old enough for a playroom. I decided that it was time to put her toys in her room and make a guest room again. It was so hard when Aunt Lena was here over the last few weeks because we did not have enough beds. This room was green and was SG's original nursery. I moved the furniture in Lena Kate's room and this is what I did. I will eventually post pictures of the nursery but I am not quite finished yet. There are a few final touches that I want to complete.

I painted this room the same color as Sarah Grace's room. It is a neutral color and seems to go with the rest of our home. Now our guest will have a place to sleep when they sleep over.
