Last night I invited Shaun’s parents and my grandparents over for dinner. I made meatloaf (my grandpa’s favorite), mashed potatoes, and green beans. After dinner we surprised them with a visit from some of our youth choir at church. The 412 praiser’s came to Christmas carol our house. They enjoyed it so much that it brought tears to both of my grandparents. They lost their youngest son a year ago and still have a hard time during the holidays. It was so special to me to see smiles on both of their faces. The youth sounded amazing as always! I am so thankful to be part of such a wonderful church!!!!
After everyone left and the girls both were in bed. Shaun and I were busy preparing to host Christmas for my mom's side of the family. We decided this year that we would just do finger foods and deserts. Shaun was busy baking cookies and snacks while I made sausage balls, stuffed mushrooms, pig in a blankets, and roast beef rollups. We were expecting around 35 people.
