I was so excited to host play date yesterday since I had not hosted since last spring. I had everything ready on Wednesday. I had ordered 4 inch Christmas sugar cookies for all of the kids to decorate and had planned for a nice lunch for the adults. Well I ran to Dillards with my mom Wednesday night and then when I got home I started feeling icky. Sure enough, I was so sick by midnight and up all night with the stomach bug... I was so upset to have to cancel. I literally stayedin bed all day yesterday. Shaun was so sweet to take care of the girls for me. Thankfully, it was only a 24 hour bug. I feel great today!
I picked Sarah Grace up early from school today to spend some time with her. When I was unloading the car I came in and saw the two girls having a conversation. Sarah Grace was talking to Lena and Lena was listening to every word. It was so adorable! I cant wait until they can sit up all night and talk to eachother like I did with my older sister and sometimes even my two younger sisters. I love having sisters and am so blessed to have two little girls! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
