Sweet 16

I have not blogged much this week because I have been super busy trying to plan my little sister Demi's surprise birthday party.  Demi did not want a party but my mom and I insisted, HA!  I can not believe that she will be 16 on Tuesday.  It was not as easy planning a surprise party.  I wasnt sure who to invite and I did not want to leave any friends out.  My mom knew who to invite and Demi's best friend Ali really helped us with the guest list.

Demi thought she was going to dinner with my parents at the Pinnacle Country Club and little did she know that all of her friends were going to join her.  We hired a DJ and it was so much fun!  We all danced and sang, played games, and had contest...  By the way, my husband can Moon Walk !!!!  Something I never knew about him until tonight.
Ali and I got to the cc early to decorate and set up.  She was such a good help to me!
Surprise!!!
Shaun and I had a great time together tonight!  We danced and even sang a duet "Youre the reason God made Oklahoma"  I bet everyone got a kick out of that since neither one of us can sing...
Me and Demi
Natalie and Demi picking out a song to sing
Dia and Jacob
The Bentonville Softball team singing
Our dear family friend Kay made the cakes for Demi.  She does an amazing job!!  Don't you just love the Barbie cake!
I am so blessed to have my sisters!!  I love each one of them so much!
Ok so it has been years since I was on a dance floor....  We had so much fun!
Mom and Demi
My dad presented Demi with a Purity ring tonight in front of everyone.  It was so sweet!
It was such a fun party!  Tomorrow we are having lunch with our family to celebrate again!

I can't believe Demi is 16! Wow! That really makes me feel old. Thanks for the message on my blog. The funerals have been and will be in Kansas City. My grandpa was buried in Avoca w/ my grandma and we will be having a memorial and proper military service in April. I will let you know when we will be in town. Talk to you soon.
