Christmas

We had the best Christmas this year!

Christmas Eve we went to our church for the annual Christmas Eve service.  Our preacher and his family tell all of the children a story and then sing Happy Birthday to Jesus!  Sarah Grace loved it!

 After church we all went to my grandma's for dinner

 Ross and Marcus read the birth of Jesus out of my Grandpa John's bible before we did the gifts. 

 After the girls were both asleep Shaun set up for Christmas morning.  We bought the girls 4-wheelers this year. 

 We all woke up around 8:00.  The girls had a lot of fun opening all of the gifts.

 Yes, I bought my child a Glitter barbie!  What in the world was I thinking????  There is glitter in every room now!  That was the only thing that she asked for so we wanted to her have it.

It was wonderful having Aunt Lena at our house this Christmas.  She enjoyed getting book tapes and her Tussy deodorant from us. 

 The girls took a quick trip around the front yard but almost froze.  It was spitting snow all day but never did really anything more than that. 

 We went to my parents around 10:00 for Christmas morning breakfast. 

Lena loved her baby doll that she got from Grandma and Grandpa this year.

Yesterday afternoon we went to Shaun's brothers house and had a wonderful lunch and the girls opened more gifts.  I spent all day today putting away Christmas presents.  Aunt Lena and I came down with the stomach bug last night so I didn't get anything done until today.  Shaun and I did get all of our Trees down and everything back up in the attic tonight.  It feels good to have everything put away and we can relax.  Shaun is off all week so we have several fun things planned.  We leave for the cabin Thursday for our annual trout fishing trip.  I cant wait!
