Easter Egg Hunt

Today I hosted our Sunday School class Play Group Easter Egg hunt.  I really enjoyed planning this one!

I love spring and I wanted the table to look like spring. I used burlap for the table cloth and draped gingham fabric over that. I made the napkins out of the same gingham fabric.

I ordered these adorable berry baskets and polka dot cups from here. I made the kids either PB&J sandwiches or turkey and cheese sack lunches out of these bags from Hobby Lobby. The printables are from here.

The kids all made a planter filled with top soil and grass seed.

My sweet friend Robyn did the cookies.  She does such an amazing job!

Everyone brought eggs for the kids to hunt and they really enjoyed it!  The weather was perfect!

Miss Carolyn works in the nursery at our church and my kids along with everyone else LOVE her so much!  She is the sweetest girl and willing to do anything for anyone!  I love her so much and so blessed that I know her.  She brought these adorable bunnies for the kids to enjoy.  She also put on a bunny suit for all of our little ones!

Vonda did the Resurrection eggs with all of the kids while we put the eggs in the back yard.  Sarah Grace told me yesterday that Easter wasn't about the eggs or the bunny and that it was all about Jesus!  It melted my heart.  I pray that my girls will love Jesus so much and know him and one day accept him in their hearts!  It was so sweet to hear that out of her mouth.

Both of my girls enjoyed today so much!  They are cuddled up on the bed watching tv as I type this out.

I prayed for nice weather today and not long after everyone left we had the biggest hail storm that I have ever seen!  Thank you Jesus for a beautiful morning and the rain that you sent for us this afternoon!

I am so blessed to be part of such a wonderful group of friends and so thankful that my girls will grow up with all of these sweet friends!

I would love to know where you got the little jars for the cole slaw. They are exactly what I have been looking for to put bath salts in. Would you mind sharing?
