Shaun bought me a sewing machine a couple years ago. Tuesday my friend Amanda came over and I turned it on for the very first time.
Amanda can make anything. She taught me how to make Capri's and pants for my girls.
It took us a couple of hours for her to explain everything to me. I am a hands on person so she let me do everything myself. We made these adorable shorts that Sarah Grace is wearing.
She also showed me how to make the fabric flowers for decor and hair accessories
I love sewing and cant believe that I am just now doing it after all of my etsy buys. I have made Sarah Grace three pairs so far and Lena Kate two. I made this outfit for Sarah Grace in just 40 minutes. I am not sure how they will hold up in the washing machine! Ha!

OK... I hate you JK lol! I cant believe how FAST you took to the sewing machine. One of my friends gave me a lesson too and I completely forgot everything and now I dont even know how to thread the thing ha!
