We spent Christmas Eve at my Grandma Edna's house. We had a wonderful dinner and a great time with everyone in the family. The kids opened presents and then we headed home to get them in bed early for you know who....
Lena Katherine fell asleep on the car ride home and poor Sarah G was so excited that she was having a really hard time. When we got home she placed some brownies and milk out for Santa and put her reindeer food out in the front yard. She went to sleep pretty quick. Lena decided to wake up around 9:00 and didn't go back to sleep until after midnight. We made her stay in bed. I think that she was terrified about Santa coming to her house. She wanted nothing to do with him this year.
After the lights were all out, we put the Santa gifts out for the girls. I think that Shaun and I were both more excited this year than the girls!
