We are in the process of adding the baby a nursery so I have been looking for furniture for one of the girls. We have them now together with two twin beds. I found this set on Craig's list and the lady is going to paint it for us. I could paint it myself but I really don't have the energy to mess with it. She is using chalk paint with a dark wax.

As much as I love the original finish on this set, I wanted to go with a blue (imagine that). She gave me a couple pictures of some of the work she had done for clients.

I went with B the darker finish. I like this a lot and think it will work as the girls get older. I am having a hard time with bedding though. I found a couple on PB Teen but hate to pay the high price

I have been dying over this set for about a year now. Sarah loves purple but this set gets horrible reviews and is really expensive.
I am excited and cant wait to share the finished room with you!

What a beautiful set and I love the turquoise with the dark wax. We had a gathered type duvet on our master bed for about a year and it held up pretty poorly. The stitches that held the gathers pulled out super easily. The PBT ones look like SG to me!
Pottery barn teen has some great sales, so just watch the set that you want and you may be able to get a great deal!
If I had to do a girls room right now I would pick the Freshly Stitched Bedding OR the Fairy Tail Bedding from Land of Nod. I might just buy both so I could change it up. That is, of course, if I were throwing a budget out the window. :-)
