Late last night Shaun and I thought it would be fun to take the girls to the Buffalo river today. We left early this morning and headed to Lost Valley trails.
We hiked and the girls love every minute of it. It was beautiful and we were all enjoying it until we passed some people and they told us that they had just killed a rattle snake right ahead of us. I was miserable and ready to leave as soon as I heard that. I am so scared of snakes!
After we finished there we took them to a swimming hole and had a picnic lunch. The water was freezing but it didn't stop them from swimming.
We had such a great day making lots of memories!!

"Buffalo River" caught my eye on the sidebar of Kelly's Korner! My family lives in NETX, but we try to make it every summer to canoe and camp at the Buffalo. It is so pretty! We will have to look for trails when we visit in July.
