Mrs Janet

Today, Shaun and I went to a celebration of the life for Mrs. Janet Pate.  Many of you have been reading her journey over the last two years.  

 

My heart aches knowing that I will never get to see her pretty face or hear her voice again, but I know that she is in a much greater place now and she wouldn't trade it for anything.

 

Janet was such an inspiration to me and to so many others.

 

I pray that I will know and love Jesus like Janet! 

 

 I pray that I will raise my kids to love Jesus and honor him everyday of their precious lives. 

 

I pray that I can touch just a fraction of the lives that she touched and to show them the love of Christ 

 

I cant image what it is like to meet Jesus face to face.  I know that Janet was looking down today with a big smile on her face.  I am so honored to have called her my friend! I am forever grateful for everything she has taught me over the years.

 

 

 

Janet touch so many lives including my baby girl.  Sarah Grace loved Mrs. Janet.  I will never forget this day. Sarah G came in the house before Fuel and said "I picked flowers for Mrs. Janet". There was an awful smell in my car on the way to church and I realized it was from the flowers. That didn't stop Janet from keeping the flowers. 

 

Janet was a such a Godly woman and will be missed greatly. But one day, I will see her again.
