My sister Dia watched our girls last night so that Shaun and I could go out on a date. Dia is running in the half marathon this morning and her husband is away on business so she was just planning to stay with us anyway. She thought the boys could sleep in if they stayed in town and she wouldnt have to get them out early this morning in the cold.
Shaun and I went to one of our favorite restraunts "The Outback" and shared a steak. We were headed to see Blindside (second attempt) and we got the call. Dia had all four kids and the baby wouldnt stop crying so we headed home. She did not want us to come home but we didnt want her to have to watch all of them by herself. Lena Katherine is very high maintance! I think because she loves to be on her mommy's hip all day long! Ha!
When we got home Sarah Grace said "Dad, was the date fun?" So cute!
This morning Dia and her boys got up bright and early and she headed to the race. I am very proud of her. She has been working hard for months to get ready for this day. Good Luck Dia!!!

I'd rather run the marathon again than try to attempt watching those four by myself. Much easier if I could have put Ms Lena down...then I could have found SG hidden in the entertainment center and John on top of the kitchen table a lot sooner!!!
