Bedroom Makeover and a Playroom

I have been busy this week rearranging the bedrooms and making room for a new playroom for the girls. I put Sarah Grace two twin beds instead of her full size bed. I want her and Lena to share a bedroom so this will be perfect for when LK is out of her crib. Not only did I switch beds but I made the headboards out of plywood, upholstery foam, fabric, and a staple gun. It was super easy and I love them!

I have plans to make coordinating panels but I am too scared to start on them. This might be a project after I get our vacation and birthday parties out of the way. I have never made panels and it could be a disaster! I have had so much fun this week doing this and this is the first time Shaun has not rolled his eyes on something like this! He wanted the girls to have a playroom!

I won a couple of toy chest at a auction this week too that I plan to make over.  I want to put seats on top with the same fabric that I used for the headboards and put that at the foot of each bed.  I am saving this for a rainy day

Here are some pictures of the playroom.  The girls have been living in this room all week.  They both love it and so do the neighbor kids
