FBC Christmas Float

FBC had their second annual Christmas float this past weekend. We served Free hot chocolate to the community out in front of our youth building.  We served around 4-500 cups last year and served about 600 cups this year.
The committee of about 10 people pulled together to design and build the most beautiful and most elegant float in the parade.
Mr and Mrs Axe were so generous to let us use their building to build and store the float in the month of November.  He was also so kind to smoke chicken breast on the grill for all of the workers one night.
Mrs Becky did all of the costumes for the float and as always did an amazing job!
Clarance, Kirk, My dad, Nathan, and Leon pretty much built the float in one night.

My mom worked so hard to make sure that everything was perfect!  She did an amazing job again this year!
She had a vision of what she wanted and went with it!  I thought it was so beautiful!
My girls enjoyed stuffing bags full of candy canes for the walkers to pass out to the people watching the parade

Dia, Jason, my aunt Cheryl, Kim and Jennette were busy in the kitchen preparing all of the hot chocolate!

The prime timers served the hot chocolate to everyone passing by.

We had a small Nativity set up beside the Hot Chocolate tent.
All of the kids watched the parade in the back of the truck

Shaun and My uncle Perry were on the float this year.  Shaun was a King and Perry was a Shepard
 Natalie was Mary

The weather was perfect Saturday morning!
