Friday morning Natalie had her surgery and what a trooper she was. She did awesome! She is still in a lot of pain but is recovering very well.
Saturday I went to our church Mugs and Muffins. Angie Smith was our guest speaker and she is incredible! I started reading her blog about a year ago. I have been meaning to pick up her book- I will carry you for a long time. I finally bought it on Saturday and started reading it today. I cried the entire first two chapters. She is unbelievable and I am so glad I got to meet her in person.
After Mugs and Muffins, Demi and I went on an overnight shopping trip to find her a prom dress. Shaun and I were originally planning to take her to Dallas for her birthday but had to change plans last minute. We didn't want to be too far away after Nat's surgery. We decided to go to Tulsa instead. We did a lot of shopping and had a really great time. I have to say that prom dresses have really changed over the last 12 years. They are all GORGEOUS! She tried about 12 dresses and immediately fell in the love with the last one. It looks so good on her and is just perfect! Shaun stayed home with the girls and we got home late this afternoon. I missed my family but had a wonderful time with Demi.
