This morning Sarah Grace had Breakfast in the Park at school. They were planning to take the kids to a near by park. We were expecting rain so the picnic had to move to the school playground. It was great and the kids all had a fun time!

Sweet Friends!
My husband pointed out on Sunday that I have never made Pork Chops and that his mother made them the BEST! So what did I do??? I went to WM and bought a large pack of pork chops and called my MIL to see if she would come show me how to fry them. They came over tonight and Nancy showed me all the tricks.
They were actually very easy and so delicious! We also had mashed potatoes and gravy, Corn on the Cob, and Crescent Rolls. A wonderful southern meal! Lena was introduced to corn on the cob tonight and she LOVED it.
We had special dinner guest tonight. Emily came home with Sarah Grace after school for a play date/sleep over and Ellie joined us for dinner. The girls had a great time playing in the back yard. Emily came in and asked for some carrots for the sand soup. I laughed and gave her a hand full because I remember as a child, I loved making soup outside with all kinds of things out of the garden. These girls are making memories!
