Prayer Request

For the last month I have been complaining of tightness is my chest and shortness of breath.  I have told Shaun a couple of times but neither of us really thought anything about it.  Wednesday night I had Fuel and went to eat with my friend Kelly and our Sunday school class.  During dinner I had some discomfort and thought I would go home instead of attending Fuel.  On my way home, I stopped for a quick trip into Wal-Mart. As I was pushing my cart, I was having such a difficult time breathing.  I called Shaun and told him that I had better get checked out and immediately went to the after-hours clinic.  The last thing that I wanted to do was to go to the ER but that is where I ended up.  5 hours later I was sent home and told to follow-up with my doctor.  The EKG came back good and the blood work all came back good. 

I went to see my doctor yesterday and he informed me that I have an enlarged heart and this could be causing the issues that I am having.  What does this mean?  I have no clue!  They took lots of blood for testing and I have an echocardiogram on Thursday morning.  I am so sure that everything will turn out ok but would like for you to please pray for me.  I am not scared because I don’t know anything yet.  Hopefully we will find something out very soon.  The doctor that I am seeing has known my family for many years and I trust that he will do all the right things. 

On another note, my aunt Lena will be coming back home for the holidays.  Shaun and I are traveling to get her in Dallas in two weeks.  She will be turning 100 in May.  I can’t believe she wants to come home but so thankful that she is able.  It is always so nice to have her here Christmas morning.  We have so much to be thankful for!!!
