Fun Flea Market Finds

Last Thursday my mom and I went to a local flea market that had so many cute items.  So Thursday night I spent so much time on the computer reading Shabby Chic blogs. I got so many cute ideas.  Friday I went to several other local flea markets and found some really cute things and got them all for less than $30.00.  I have some ideas that I want to do around the house over the next few weeks.  I have some old furniture that I want to spice up with color. 

I have a plan for this shutter and cant wait to start working on it. I am looking for three old door knobs so that I can start working on it.

I found this old dresser for sale for 40.00 and I offered 20.00 and they accepted.  I love a good deal!  I wanted this for my living room.  I painted it red last night and plan to glaze it and antique it this week.  I put some knobs that I had stuck up somewhere on them.  I need to buy more screws so that I can finish adding them on. 

I fell in love with this old clock and put it in my kitchen. 

I also found this old trunk for $5.00.  It is so old and literally falling apart but I want it to store blankets.  I actually have moved it in front of one of my chairs for an Ottoman and like it there better.  I will post a picture later

Poor Max!  My girls love him so much and he lets them climb all over him. 

Today we all went to my Grandma's for Sunday lunch. 

Aunt Lena leaves this week so it was hard for her to say goodbye to everyone!
