Not too much going on at the McCoy home today. Sarah Grace stayed with Dia last night so Lena and I didn't get out of bed until almost 9 this morning and then I took her in to MDO. My neighbor came over for coffee and to visit with Aunt Lena. Shaun brought Sarah Grace home around noon so that we could have some time together before Lena came home from MDO. We made a craft, played barbies, and watched a little TV.
This afternoon my sweet friend Stacy came to say goodbye to Aunt Lena. I have known Stacy since Jr High and just love her so much! She is such Godly woman and a true blessing to me and my family.
After she left my mom called to see if me and the girls wanted to meet her at our local Thrift store. I needed out of the house and Aunt Lena wanted a hot apple pie and coffee from MacDonald's so we went.
Just a few dollars later I came home with some fun things. I bought these candle holders that I love so much! I am not real sure where I am going to put them but the mantel will do for now.
These just make me smile!
You have no idea how much I have missed this little stinker. We enjoyed each other so much this afternoon. She loves her aunt Dia but is a big mamma's girl when it comes down to it
Lena missed her sister too! and they have played so well all night.
I finished my dresser last night. I bought the knobs at Lowes and thought it turned out pretty good. I am loving the extra storage space. I filled it full of table linens
Sarah Grace loves shopping at the Thrift stores. She found lots of things but fell in love with this old porcelain doll. I let her buy it with her own money and she adores it
My mom found these wooden boxes for me to play with. I have a plan for them and know just where they will go.
I also found this old candy dish. My Great Grandma had one similar to this one so I wanted it so that it would remind me of her.
Shaun had a meeting tonight so the girls, Lena and I had leftovers and watched the memorial on TV. When Shaun got home we all attempted to watch a family movie "Where the Red Fern Grows" and about 10 minutes into it this is what happened. We borrowed this movie from Dia the other night. I use to watch it all the time growing up and loved it. I love how they mention God and values in it. I havent seen it in years so I am excited. Shaun and I thought we would wait for Sarah Grace to finish it.
So I am loving the Bachelor this season so far. I have my pick already! I love Emily! She is so sweet and real! Who do you like?

I think your red cabinet turned out GREAT!!!!
I haven't seen where the red fern grows since about 6th grade. I need to watch it. Love the girls all knocked out.
And Emily is my pick too!!!!
Your little red dresser is darlin'! I found one for my living room a few weeks ago. It is #2 pencil yellow, and it makes me happy.
I use it to hide away diapers :)
I am sooooo team Emily too! ;)
